BiS for a SH

Wondering a littlw bit what the best in slot gear would be for a SH judging from the armory it seems people are using stuff that is increasing ballistic and weapon skill more than the actual "up to level" eq but maybe i just havent went trough armory enough. Could someone enlighten me on this?

I can reply only from a Shadow Warrior point of view, hoping the stats/bonuses are the same...
I farmed Mercenary set as I play mainly skirmish (quick shooting for SH) as it gives 1 extra point in that tree. As it also up armor it's good for assault/stabbin' even though i'm not convinced by a pure melee spec.
For only range spec Annihilator is better.
Ruin I didn't put any interest in.
It also depends on your gameplay/style (solo, FG, zerg xD). For soloing I run full mercenary with a skirm/assault spec (quick shootin'/stabbin'). When in wb I wear 2 annihilator pieces, the rest is mercenary, with a skirm/scout spec (quick shootin'/big shootin').
