Hmm really? I can swear I have a stack of 200's on my salvager.. maybe those are from lair blue's then..
Anyhow the point remains that some of the crafting materials needed for higher level talismans are very hard to come by and that is reflected by their prices.

They are ilvl39 max so no 200 essences, but youll be able to get blue ws and toughness fragments.

Still would like to see an alternate way to get these "missing" crafting reagents.
I hope a dev or db guy can shine his light on this one day.

I would LOVE to have blue/purp drops from high lvl mobs again. Limit the lvl of the drop same as before if necessary before the loot/system is ready. But entirely agreed. The economy of tali's is kinda crazy atm, and this is seriously exacerbated by the AH issues...

Hell, if they don't want Items dropping, yea. Add blue/purp Fragments to the Loot tables for certain Mobs. Ofc, this will all be accomplished by the Mystical Faeries and wont take any man-hours...

Previous to the AH wipe, you would see 200 essence on Order from time to time. I know I had a largish stack of them from before the drops got regulated that I made a nice profit on.

But, what Armor set is rank 40? Isn't anni/ruin cap at 37 or something? What armor drops from gold that is R40? And I am taking your word that the jewelry sets are 40, I don't have one.

The jewel items i keep geting on my WE was lvl 40+ since i salvage the ones i already have, and give 200. Not sure if all. When u dont need any more tokens, use it to buy gear for salvage and cover u needs on talis. The ones u buy from AH not lvl 40 ;p

The t4 influence rewards are typed as ilvl51, but most people would want to use those as equips.
The purple bag jewels are ilvl45 buut unless you get a duplicate I'd advise against salvaging those.
Then there is the anni and merc gear of which only the chest is ilvl40 far as I know.

I'm not even so fussed about the 200 essences, although I can see why they are missed and/or grossly overpriced, but you can still get nice +22 or better with crits talis with 175 essences.

The lack of purple 175+ weaponskill, toughness and wounds fragments is what most bugs me.

Wait.... What? Item lvlx5=frag lvl rounded down. With a chance to crit. If the item lvl is 36 you're not getting 200 lvl frags. It's the same with Scavenge. Mob lvlx5 round down to get Mat lvl they drop(if you have appropriate Scavenging lvl that is)

So again, what Armor gives you 200 frags?

And don't even talk about "farming" enough purp bags from keeps to get tali's for yourself. That's 7 purp bags per character just on tali's, before you get any actual jewel pieces you want... and I'm the one normally advocating the Grind...

You can farm 200 frags. That isn't the issue, the issue is that A, Farming the few 40 champs is the only way to get them(other than salvaging Influence/lair/etc), and that B, they don't drop Tough, WS, Wounds, Ini frags. So what is achievable is pretty cookie cutter.

item lvl dont is same as lvl u need to use item... i have even seen lvl 46 items...
