So I've been using the VinyUI 1.6 stuff lately and love most of it.
I do have one issue that I'm not sure how to fix. When I'm on my Magus, I use the Pure UI for health bars and stuff, but I noticed that with my pet, I get the Pure bar and for some reason the default UI health bar also.
So my question is, how do I get rid of the default pet health bar?
An issue with Pet health bar using VinyUI?

Re: An issue with Pet health bar using VinyUI?
Hello Battleshadow666,
To answer your question, you would have to go into the layout editor and find the default pet health bar, right click it, and hide it.
I actually downloaded VinyUI last week. I'm very content with it but I had to change some of the layout of the UI to match MY preference. I started with going into the layout editor and resetting ALL the add-ons to their default position, so I had to start from scratch - however, I did copy alike the VinyUI layout, but I neatened stuff up. If you download VinyUI and go into the layout editor, you will see that all of the default UI bars were resized, hidden, and clustered to the left. Upon resetting all the add-ons to their default position, I started from scratch by moving and measuring things around, where I even went as far as to screenshot my screen, go into Photoshop, and arrange by pixels. I have spent ridiculous hours on this and I even spoke to the creator of the UI about my thanks to him and how I laid it out in measures and convenience. It's a mix of the add-ons and default frames in which I will attempt to speak with him in later time about releasing my arrangement while crediting him. I may release screenshots in later time on this thread by updating my reply to you.
Why I spent so much time with this is that I loved the UI but I felt that there were things that needed to be changed, especially in the layout editor for the problem you're having now. It was hard to find default frames that were essential to the game when they were clustered to the left and resized, that way if I need to change something, I can and should be able to find it conveniently in the layout, where all the default bars were never resized, and most of them were arranged in their basic position, just arrange in compliance with the add-ons or hidden.

Re: An issue with Pet health bar using VinyUI?
I had the same problem. I couldn't find the stance bars for a Shadow Warrior, this leading to why I rebuilt it in my time. I asked others who had/have VinyUI and spoke with another Shadow Warrior who claimed to have the same proble where he/she could not find the stances and suggested I placed the stances on my hotbar. I asked Viny of it and he told that it was a layout built on his specific character. The only thing I would need to do is to add this add-on and finish it on a character and position the career window somewhere, in which I already have an idea where. I may have screenshots up soon since the game seems to be working now.Battleshadow666 wrote: Interesting because when I go into layout editor I can't find the pet bar. A little update. So I didn't not know this, but your pets health bar is part of you status bar. But when you go to hid your status bar, it seems this does not hid the pets health bar also. I'll have to mess around with some more now that I sort pin pointed why I couldn't mess with the pet bar.

Re: An issue with Pet health bar using VinyUI?
Second update. So i fiddled with it and to no avail too. Not sure why that works the way it does. Anyways my current options are to turn off pures pet par and use the default or find an addon what gets ride of that for me.
Re: An issue with Pet health bar using VinyUI?
There is an addon called Phantom that lets you hide most default windows. It may or may not be able to hide the default pet bar, I'm not sure the addon itself works.Battleshadow666 wrote:So I've been using the VinyUI 1.6 stuff lately and love most of it.

From what I remember back in T2 some people were reporting that Phantom doesn't work properly, there are currently three version available in idrinth repository so chances are I'll have to test all 3 before I find a working version if such exists. I''ll post an update in my UI thread when I have more information.
In the meantime I ask that you post any other questions/comments about the UI pack in the same thread so we don't clutter up the Addon subforum.
Cheers,
Viny

It's fine now. I just turned off the Pure pet bar, and are using the default.Caffeine wrote:There is an addon called Phantom that lets you hide most default windows.
