Well, welcome home. Who ya play?

I haven't actually started re-playing the game yet. I don't have a lot of free time and currently I'm involved in resurrecting Planetside onto a private server (game just turned off, finally, yesterday).

When I did play, I had one of each on both Order and Destruction, for varying reasons. I preferred to play Order in my private time. My faves were the Swordmaster, Ironbreaker, and the Bright Wizard. I will probably take up an Ironbreaker again, as I loved the Dwarf storylines more than anything else. I actually just finished reading "The Dwarves" by Markus Heitz, which is what prompted me to come back and download again.

Well you know, i had the most playtime the first 2 years of release, i just believe you should've stayed with 1.0 because it was damn good.

WAR 1.0 was damn good? When almost none of the endgame content actually worked?

Planetside 1 was such an epic game, shame they gutted planetside 2 into such a simplistic waste of time

I agree. I played PS2 with my old outfit, and we were pretty good, but it just couldn't hold my attention the way Planetside did. I actually have a few questions for you if you don't mind, that may help us get the game on a private server. Still trying to figure out how to send PMs though. Haven't done forumside in forever.

You have absolutely no idea of what happened, aside from 'Meh, they destroyed my game!!!!! whine bla rant!!!' Hardly anyone does know what it is like to work for a company that will force you to do as they wish. You have no idea how it is like to have all of your ideas busted, because those with more power don't agree.

I don't mind -- I've been in the business for over eight years, and have been surfing forums since the late 90s. It's extremely difficult to get me riled up. I've been dealing with angsty neckbeards for eight years, running their suck to zero effect. I was prepared when I posted my intro.
