Re: Mouse Suggestions
I ended up buying a G502 Logitech mouse. Has 11 programmable buttons and the ability to adjust weight to the mouse is amazing. Works nice and smooth. I'm sure there are better mouses out there for MMOs but I play a booty load of other games so the all-around ability of this mouse is very useful.

I used the razer naga, But I actually hate everything razer since they don't really last as long as other gaming mice out there

Gaming mouse
Mouse needs 2 buttons: left and right. If you have middle button serving as a roller you have godlike gaming equipment.
If you buy a mouse that costs you 99 EUR instead of 10 EUR just because it has 17 buttons and glows in dark that is not the way to go.
1. Go to the shop.
2. Check mouses and how they fit in your hand.
3. Select the most comfortable one.
4. ???
5. Profit.
"gaming equipment" is just marketing, even people who you see streaming on twitch hate that stuff (inb4 you so wrong mate). Of all the gaming equipment only important piece is a keyboard, but you also don't need some super fancy stuff, full antighosting is all you need. Rest is a matter of personal preference so make sure you try it before you buy it.

Re: Mouse Suggestions
I've been using an M570 for years. One of my major complaints is the click actuators that tend to wear out. They're replaceable if you're handy with a soldering iron. Usually lasts two years of heavy use before having to worry about it.

These are the microswitches compatible with most mice. Far better quality ones than what comes stock.

I agree that it doesnt have to glow in the dark, thats just silly, but having a few extra buttons (i really like 4 way scroll)
helps. It frees up some easy to reach buttons on your keyboard.
Im using an ancient mx1000 laser (logitech) simply because i really liked it till the charger died, and found a replacement dirtcheap 2ndhand

Re: Mouse Suggestions
If you buy cheap peripherals, you get what you paid for, trash. Cheapo brands/models, and even gaming variants by well known brands like logitech, in my experience never measure up to the more expensive competition. The standard when it comes to mouse peripherals in E-sports level of competition, should be considered the best. If the pros use a specific product consistently, you know it works better then the competition. Razer and Steelseries are pretty much top dogs when it comes to the E-sports scene regardless really of the game genre. Typically MOBA/MMO players will use Razer Naga's, and FPS players will go with a RIVAL/SENSEI.vove wrote:Gaming mouse![]()

I can't say that I've tried any MMO mice before, so no experience there, but when it comes to FPS mice Finalmouse>Steelseries>Razer. Nobody else can compete. I don't think I can actually ever go back to any other mouse, Finalmouse just blows the competition out of the water by such large margins.
If your gonna pay 1200$ for a gaming PC to begin with, 70$ for a reasonable mouse isn't that big of an expense.
Re: Mouse Suggestions
Naga's intrigue me. The only thing that holds me back from having a secondary mouse for MMO's, the Naga's buttons aren't modular.Tankbeardz wrote:Naga or bust. Especially for MMOs.
Hopefully Razer comes out with a product like this, then I'll be all in.

IMO that's the best all round gaming mouse available.
