Hey everyone,
I have recently gotten a new computer from my father in law, and I've been trying to download everything, but with no luck. I'm just wondering if maybe the game cant be played on a vista system? i know it may be a silly question but any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Re: System not compatible?
Well if it works on win7,8 and 10 it definitely will work on vista too. Shouldnt be too hard to get it working. But if you provide ZERO errormessages or whatever problem you encounter we cant help you at all.

Re: System not compatible?
Did you download the proper DirectX directly from microsoft? thats a few hundred MBs big and if it was installed properly you shouldnt get any DX errors at all

Re: System not compatible?
Okay then let me be blunt but: did you correctly unzip and install it as well?
Re: System not compatible?
I may know one of the cause, vista want the game to be installed via the normal cd procedure i had that problem too while on xp and 7+ it dosen't require that. So either upgrade to 7 or downgrade to xp in both case it's better than use vista. IF you have the cd install it then copy what you had downloaded in the war folder and delete the old one.
edit: if you have a missing ddl file download it from internet and put it in warhamemr folder

d3dx9_43.dll should be in war folder if you reciving a error for this that is missing you need to download it and put it in war folder/eventually in system 32 and/or WOW64; You should be able to fix manually all direct x problem tought it's a bit hard to understand how folder work for 64 bit
