Ok, so I just installed it on my laptop (running Windows 7) and everything works fine on it. I copied that exact folder to my desktop and I'm having the same problems. So the game is fine, there's just something on my desktop that's not fine apparently. I am running Windows 10 (and dual monitors, but I had the same problems when I disabled 1, so that can't be it). *sighs*

I'm not certain what the cause could be. I use Windows 10 also, and it works flawlessly. Have you installed all the latest Windows updates?

Yeah, Windows is totally up to date. It must be something running in the background. Is there any log file present that could possibly show why it's going wrong?

I'll try to create a new user and see if it also happens there.

Can check for any processes running that are related to manufacturer software.

What do you mean exactly?

So I just tested it under a different user and that worked perfectly. Now I just have to figure out what's running that's giving me all these issues.

I know a lot of people who've had issues getting the game to work, and they found Asus software to be the culprit. I'm glad to hear you've made some progress, hopefully can find what process is conflicting it.

Ah, that's what you mean. I don't have any ASUS software. I do have Razer software, that might be the culprit. Horrible company, they are.

Other than that, I have Teamviewer running in the background, AutoHotkey, Samsung Magician, Rainmeter, Launchy and some Intel Storage things. I'll quit/uninstall them one by one, to check if one of those may be the culprit.
