Video settings not saving

I apologize if this was previously covered, I couldn't find it in the Tech support forum.

For what ever reason every time I start the game I have to reset my Video settings from default to what I prefer. Not that this is an issue, just more of an annoyance really.

Try setting War.exe to run as administrator. The problem sounds like privilege setting issues.

It's already set that way.
I realized after the last crash a few minutes ago that it also affects my UI settings.

R-click the main folder and check to see if it is read only, if it isn't go ahead and make it read only. Ive had this problem with other games and that usually does the trick for me.
