Farming Ruin Gear / Purple bags

Ruin gear hasn't been that tough for me to get on my Knight, I literally did 6 PQ's and got 4 paces of Ruin. Less people at the PQ higher probability

Well, all the bags I've seen went to either tanks or healers, sometimes a choppa would get it.

I think this is just like confirmation bias. Honestly it wasn't that hard to farm ruin on a knight, and i didn't get first every single time just from tanking and pulling mobs. A keg engie and RP got 1st just as many times, and we farmed this PQ for hours. Were talking 50+ PQ runs. Just stick with it, especially when there's fewer people running it, that is your time to shine.

After being griefed a bit by a separate 'pve elitist' group, I came to the conclusion that PQ tag/kill contribution can be taken from you by another group. These guys would AoE kill and tag everything using a slayer/wp combo and always were 1st and 2nd. Not only that, the rest of the groups barely participated at this time because it was simply to difficult to compete with this slayer/wp for contribution. They won every single bag until they got sick of the easymode farm and moved on.

Why criticize for efficiency... I bet they made the PQ FAR easier and quicker than if they weren't there. They got rewarded for it. What's the problem?

Group up! Hard to get Contribution as a solo tank or healer? Woe is you. Group up and gaurd/heal the DPS. You're all at the PQ together anyways...

I will be thinking of the days I spent farming Cards in RO long before anything I have done on this game...

Trying to farm the shoulders on my Zealot, now that's painful, I just gave up in the end and got the Anni shoulder instead.
