If the game had launched in the state it was around 1.3.6 then it would never have lost subs at the rate it did at launch. The rr100 p2w cash grab messed things up again just as they were making the game much better.

Balancing classes, polish stuff, implementing fortresses, city sieges, lost vale: i'm ok with everything except all that is after rr80 and the shitty lotd. If they introduce pve timesinks i'll prolly quit like i did on live. Also, please fix the poor pet classes, they are totally unreliable atm and i shelved my WL until something is done :)

And it made the game worse.

There is only 4 things that i can think of in that department.
1. Get more players, somehow.
2. Introduce XP-stop-twinking instead of this overbolster, possibly with a UI button for it.
3. Roll the bad changes the game has had over the years back.
4. Remove levels, and then removing the 3 previous options.
If you read what i said, i just appointed the problem, not the solution. Haven't said anything about their solution that, obviosly, didn't work. In fact, I said that i did not know the solution.
If at first you don't succeed, get a bigger hammer
