if u are using NB ever notice when u tab out and back in that NB doesn't not running correctly? if so when u load the game and look at ur addons its in green and when u tab out and move to diff zone it turns yellow with error and when u do a reloadui game freezes and u get the error. i did a in game ui debugged when i did nerf buttons red error came and u get the visual error again. I took out NB because it came with the torrent and haven't had a issue yet. another thing to look for is when u load the game and look at ur addons u will see the ones working in green try tabbing out and loading in diff zones and see wut visual adds on u might turn yellow to give the visual error. NB is a on screen visual effect on ur hot bar and it not 100% working on the server and/or files not good. hope this helps anyone : )

nb yes and runtime error always appears when nb bugs out. (i had no problems yesterday though)

I was having the same problem for ages now, and would like to say thanks to you guys in this thread.

It's been very informative. Since I stopped alt-tabbing out I haven't had this crash on exit once. I can relog toons without any problem (it also crashed there too). Interesting that it appears to be caused by NB. That would also tie in with my findings. I too had noticed that NB stopped working after an alt-tab playing in full screen mode.

Personally I won't be playing in windowed mode, I find it breaks immersion for me. However, I am very careful not to alt tab now. If I need to look something up in-game I simply use my phone or tablet now instead.

why not windowed mode visually there is no difference?

I think he has the frame enabled around it, so it doesn't feel as immersive as full-screen mode. I run in windowed mode on the highest resolution with no border and it basically mimics full-screen mode with non-painful alt+tabbing.

A friend of mine has a fix for the NB problem which appears to cause this error, but im to stupid to work out which file to replace with the fix, i will ask him if he can post here in detail how to do it.
