[White Lion] Pounce need a Cooldown

I've been 1-shotted by WL all the time and that's something that's very hard to forget. My ego's still suffering from it.

If the pet gets CC immunity and a speed buff I want as compensation the z-axis restrictions on chaotic rift removed. Because if we're going to play shitty, I want to make sure I can play too.

And still no for a timer on pounce at this point in time.

not a question about how it happens ALOT.
any soft armor class gets 1 shotted SH - zealot - WE - most choppa's - Dok - Shammy any destro player can confirm that unless if ur tank is right on u for the 30ft range and or 3 other healers are healing u. else its game over u drop like butter on a hot knife. then u say detaunt ur alr to late to even press that button.

Full offensive specced WL RR100 Warpforged, fully decked, ouch as that did hurt running into them when you're alone.

To all those claiming to get one-shouted by a WL, post a video or time-stamped combat log, with information on the opposing player (i.e. level and gear). Ensure it shows sufficient time before the first hit of the WL so any debuffs applied by others can be taken into consideration as well.

I fail to see how a WL can kill a similar geared and levelled character in one GCD, but proof me wrong. As my wife likes to remind, it wouldn't be the first time I am wrong!

And, yes, the burden of proof is on you as you make these claims. Until such evidence emerges, it remains nothing but hear'say and propaganda.

also here is a suggestion for now since we cant nerf WL since it is his unique and shining star abil wich makes him stand out.
maybe do 10 sec cooldown on pounce.
reduce charge to 20 sec.
pass em the immunity for cc and knockback without using the pet with cooldown also ofc.
any thoughts on that ?

Not really Lindel and try stay on topic please. Pounce should have a CD like everything else that is all.

Lets us not derail that with Maras have TE, fetch is broken, pet is broken, WLs have AP issues* or endless situational discussions.

1. "Similar abilities" that grant move speed buffs or immunities to CC in any form "all" have 30s CD or more (all = 9/10).

2. Back on WAR it was granted a 0 CD as it misfired a lot but that is fixed now

* Having a CD on pounce could even help the AP-issues because you get "ability downtime" like most other MDPS

This is a balance discussion, and as such, needs to take the ENTIRE repertoire of class abilities mirrors have into consideration. You don't get to just single out one ability and cry for a nerf unless you factor in the overall strength of the class compared to its mirror. Failing to do so fails to show an understanding of what balance is. Pet issues, AP issues, fetch being broken: all of these are relevant to a discussion on balance. Don't be so monomaniacal.

No, pounce does not need a cooldown. It's fine as it is. It still misfires as well. If you think it doesn't, you just haven't played the class. Also, any WL who is running out of AP due to pounce spam is not being a good WL and optimizing their burst. You need to use other abilities to kill players. Pounce spam fails to kill an equal level, unhealed RDPS if that RDPS is awake and at their keyboard.

Also, "like everything else"? What does that even mean? There are spammable abilities in this game, clearly "everything else" doesn't have a CD associated with it.
