And so what? It's a bug! It will disappear after a bugfix patch! Try to TE somebody with this level of disrupt RNG. And that's not a bug! Oh no! It will not fix itself after a patch. Don't you have real arguments instead of bias?

@noise: lol what?

Lol at this topic. You trying to state that TE is inferior to Fetch and resorting to other "superior" skills like bugmans best and eyeshot is fallacious.

TE was disruptable back on live as well so this isnt any argument at all. This spell is extremely strong and is supposed to be hard to land in the first place since its a guaranteed kill in pretty much 80% of the time. Just because you are lvl40 now doesnt mean you are supposed to get a freekill every 30 seconds.

About fetch: The pet is right now (and will always be) a lot more unreliable than the direct pull from marauder. The pet can be easily killed in a few striked, can be staggered, rooted, can be knockdowned (also with a kick) to hinder the Lion from pulling. There is at least the same amount of 'counterplay' to Fetch than there is to TE so you have absolutely no right to even dare complain about "how much better order has it" .

Thats why i just lol.

Yeah. Who needs to pull an enemy into 20 friends, when he can jump alone into 20 enemies.

Seriously, complaining as a mara about high disrupt rates is indeed a bit /lol as he himself can knockdown anyone in a 100 feet radius on a 10 second cooldown when he disrupts.

Maybe you should start to look and utilize at the excessive toolset the class has, not only one lamer-ability to troll people.

What? I respect players like Marckus who will los/range TE with skill, it means there is a counterplay.
But basically pull as a 30 sec and is very unreliable. I'm willing to understand why ID and pounce reliability have been improved from retail while TE seems to be totally out of question.
At the moment when I play with my group (were are not very good but I'm willing to improve) it's almost useless to call for pulls and to coordinate in consequences because only 1 pull over 5 tries will work. Aethyrick shock + the chosen going to the target to repel it to use has been working so much better. So disapointing.

I know about mutated energy and how you cannot use on demand because it lights off very fast, doesn't help if the ennemy if physical heavy, can be defended and your choppa bro has a good reliable stun; thank you Luth. You just cannot wait for the immune to run off and time your stun. Play mara to check if I lie.

At least I understand better now. TE is not a strong tactical ability. It's lame and mostly for trolling as Luth pointed it out. And all people who where saying "just wait for TE" and "order must have abilities like rkd because TE" where trolling or just ignorant.

This is a blatant troll. Fetch has a better implementation? It's the single clunkiest ability I've seen in any MMO. A successful fetch involves:

-the pet being alive (highly unlikely in any situation where there's aoe damage
-The pet not borking out hopelessly and ignoring all your commands
-the pet successfully pathing to the target (harder to do if there are rocks or trees)
-you having LOS of the target when the pet reaches it
-the pet surviving, and closing in melee range with the target

Usually after a successful fetch, the pet dies, thus costing the WL 50 percent of their critical damage and all of their CC for the next 15 seconds. It's a sacrifice for the WL player's dps output to even DO a basic class ability. If anything, fetch needs a buff in terms of reliability.

Maybe marauders should be forced to deal with the inconvenience of relying upon a fickle pet's AI before they complain about Terrible Embrace's inadequacies.

True bust still better than on retail because here pets have reduced aoe damage. Clearly a free help for lions. Group heals usually protects it from aoe if you have control of your pet.

-The pet not borking out hopelessly and ignoring all your commands

QQ My kitty is bugged.

-the pet successfully pathing to the target (harder to do if there are rocks or trees)

Same as above.

-you having LOS of the target when the pet reaches it

Oh really? It's also instant wich means a timed fetch as a high succes rate.

-the pet surviving, and closing in melee range with the target

Speedy Gonzales pets please.

You seem to forget that for TE it's the player itself that takes the risk (risk of dieing vs risk of losing 20sec of buff). While the risk is almost non existent in scenarios, it's a really different matter in rvr.

So if we keep the pet QQ out of the discussion I think my points remains. The great lack of realiability of TE in it's basic implementation really reduces the supposed superiority of TE over fetch because of pet difficulties, if any. And also TE is not as good for destro as rkd, rampage, pounce or crit auras are for order, thus could really use a parry/block check just like fetch. Dodge/block seems like a good choice also, it would mean ranged classes could react and use m1 or tanks use hold the line, it would involve some counterplay instead of basic high disrupt rate. Anything but magic actually.

"Pet QQ" is relevant to this discussion because the pet is an essential component of fetch. I'm pretty sure if your only means to CC anybody could be killed off as easily as a WL's, you'd be QQing as well.

This is no fault of the devs, the WL was broken on live too, but broken class mechanics deserve to be "QQ"d about. The functionality of a class depends on it. How would you like it if your ability to perform stance-based abilities was able to be outright killed by the enemy team, or just didn't work half the time?

Bet you'd be singing a different tune.

Speed training is an irrelevant argument. You're basically saying that WLs, as a DPS class, should only be allowed to use three tactics to improve their dps, and the fourth slot should be used to make their character fully functional and operate as intended. That's unfair and unbalanced. You don't have to spend a tactic slot to make the basic functionality of your class operate, neither should we.
