Launcher shows web server offline and login server yellow

Reinstalling the game didn't resolve the problem for me. I didn't expect that it would, though. The problem doesn't seem to be a client error; rather it's the launcher that isn't receiving any response from the servers. It seems to affect only a small number of players so it's probably not a high priority issue right now with the T4 launch.

Have you tried using a VPN and then launching the launcher?

Yes, I tried a VPN last week and got the same result. Using a packet sniffer I noticed that the launcher is trying to connect to 178.32.153.250 instead of 178.32.58.46 (which was mentioned by MagicThighs in another troubleshooting post). I can ping both addresses but the launcher still thinks the server is offline.

Could you try replacing your version of data.myp with this version.It has the updated server IP already injected in it, so it should work.

I have the same problem and can't seem to fix it. The last time i played is about a month ago and everything worked fine back then. Someone found a solution yet?

Yes, VPN didn't work. Reinstalling the game/launcher, disabling firewalls and replacing data.myp didn't work too It's realy frustrating.

Is there some recent application you installed that is conflicting with the launcher?

The updated data.myp didn't resolve the problem with the launcer. I installed the game on a spare laptop to narrow the cause and connected without issue, so the problem turned out to be on the gaming pc that I was using for WAR after all. Unfortunately my troubleshooting skills failed to uncover the actual problem (which is a frustrating admission) so I just wiped that pc clean and the launcher is friendly again.
