Lets talk about influence rewards

So I'm not entirely sure how much of this is in the hands of the devs or is just hard wired in so we are sorta stuck with it but I figured it'd be a good place to start to get an idea of other classes as well.

So for T3 and especially T4 now that we have some cool RvR items to use while we get the new sets, I've noticed stat allocation seems a bit wonky. For instance having str/weaponskill on a cloak but 1% heal heal crit? Or having defensive stats and willpower on a 3% crit weapon. I understand the "you don't have to use them" but I do think it would open up some options for other people and may encourage some more RvR even if these items were looked at.

As far as priority would go the only RvR items that get used mostly are rings, cloaks, belts, and maybe even weapons if they have the right stats on them. For instance magus items having weaponskill a stat that surely none have put to good use.

I am not flaming, not complaining, not bickering I swear lol. I do know that with the epic weps I have, and the SC set being a big goal I have little to no incentive on my melee DoK to do RvR. I think the cloaks/belts/weps have great potential but things as small as swapping 1% heal crit to melee crit turn that cloak into a VERY good option. Or removing the willpower from the T4 RvR wep for str or wounds or something and boom that 3% crit wep might be best in slot who knows.

If there is no way to fix this, this is the wrong thread, or has been stated in a previous thread I do apologize but I really think this would be a great idea and does not create imbalance in any way as the SC and RvR emblem/medal sets are best now, but having some RvR gear that isn't just for a tali would be awesome too.

Thanks!!!!

Alot of the items stats from how classes were intended to be played. Id rather see how balance goes to see if those roles come back.

the tome for t4 wasactually changed, and some other items too....basically even with changes,no one would have used them instead of deva/duelist set anyways. But I would also like a change to cloak and belt...both were most often taken for their resistance stats in t3.

I mean yeah. You can technically play melee DoK and try and cast heals.. But then you'd be splitting b/w heal crit and melee crit and your heals would be at minimum 20-25% less effective... idk, its intended to be a melee healer. Not a backline healer so while your role comment may apply to some, it does not apply to examples I have listed.
