@Recommended Group setup

2-2-2 meta is not really good for most of the lairs. Due to the little bit wierd aggro mechanic and due to the taunt CD the DPs chars are not really good here. Thing is that some DPS do so much damage that they do break aggro. Sure, if u have experienced grp its alright as tank have to switch aggro to dps and taunt/challenge.

I recommend 2 def tanks, 2 off tanks, 1 pure heal and Shamy/AM (AP leech its really good at Ravack and Eldrin). Sure, its gona take more time to bring hero down, but the time u spent bashing him is still lower than time spent when u wipe. This setup is for smooth, non problematic experience :)

@Ryan&Ravack loot

Would be really nice if u can do that, its going to smooth up the loot roll :)

That's a good suggestion, honestly. I suppose I just offered my own generic view on a good group, as I've had a 2-2-2 and the aggro did stay off a bit and say one of our Witch Hunters would receive the aggro in mid-fight and get 1 to 2-shot and then the boss would reset. I'll fix it to your suggestion, and so thank you.

Dunno if it works, but seems to have been doing so for us:

2/2/2
Just ensure the DPS are pressing their detaunt whenever its off cooldown. We havent had any problems with aggro since doing that.

Yeah, detaunt for DPS is vital. Tanks generally don't have enough strength to deal much damage to the bosses. I've found the setup that works best for me is 2 tanks (1 pure tank mt, 1 2h ot), 2 dps, 1 pure heal spec healer and 1 sac dok with empowered transfer. Kills faster than a 2-2-2 setup and has enough survivability to not just die on the spot.

I've also had some limited success with a single tank and the same heal setup, but that is reliant on not getting a string of crits (or possibly a non-dok pure healer). So tanks wanting to do lairs, please spec for low chance to be crit.

I've been running with Neptune for much of these. Great guy to run with. Takes the initiative to start groups and doesn't stop until every available boss is down. Was good fun.

Very helpful post.

Now that T4 is released, has anyone killed the bosses and can post their drops? Might be useful going 4/5 and using one of these drops.

OR if anyone has a link with the stats of the actual drops? The hammer Wiki doesn't seem to have any of the drops listed when I try and click them.

Most lairs in T4 have a special door opening mechanism, so they're not in yet. Or they're in 'illegal zones' like Frostshard Prison and Menagerie north of CW. Only accessible boss I know of is the troll in CW and he doesn't drop any loot atm.

Yup went to look at the one by north bo in cw was illegal area, same as the lair in west praag, also the war horn isn`t at the gunworks in Reikland, So i assume most aren`t working atm .

Didn`t check the lair in KV by Gromil junction.

There is a hero up in T4, in the cave by Order WC in Caledor, he's a lvl 45 Hero, my group pulled him for fun, and dropped the tank in like 2 hits
