X-Realming is Good for the game.

I wouldnt class wow in with counterstrike. Blizzard knew how important faction pride was and is one of the reasons, although I never got into their watered down warhammer world, that wow is far and away the most successful mmos there ever will be. Blizz are great developers that give gamers what they need not always what they want.

That is hardly a good argument and furthermore you dont bring any valid points as to why xrealming is good or bad, all you do is rant and throw out wild accusations.

You seem to think players who play both sides are the scum of the earth, im willing to bet 90% of players here in ror have chars on both sides.

When i switch sides it isnt to leech or because its easier its either to play with friends, play the underdog or just because i fancy playing a certain class.
I guarantee i try harder then most to win and i am more of an asset to the side i am on than most other players.

Why take a defended keep, when there is an undefended keep in another zone, offering RP/Lootbags?
Given that the RP isn't much, but with RR cap low, it doesn't take much to get to cap.

I'm not sure on the Lootbag stuff, but maybe it's fully RNG on how many gold/purple/blue bags there are, or dependant on players in the area. But if you compare 24 people taking a keep for 1 or 2 lootbags, to 100 people taking a keep for 1 to 3 lootbags, odds are better you'll get a bag in the empty one.

This attitude is more of a problem then xrealming will ever be, why fight other players when you can just take an empty keep and be rewarded for it.

You should be blaming the attitude of these type of players rather then ppl who play both sides.

Look I played it for some time and this faction pride is a joke. Wow is a pve mobgrinder, there is no good pvp at all. They even have raids or instances where both factions playing against mobs and not each other, I just don't remeber which ones. Also look latest CGI videos, alliance is like allied to hordes and this is beyond bs.

But yea whatever, i guess your next answer will be how in that situation it was some epic plan to help take Badlands keep, but my point is they just went for empty keep in Avelorn, instead of not giving up good RvR action (and if realm pride mattered than not leaving it for that reason)

I defended 4 keeps yesterday. Des had door down in less than 2 mins zerged in killed our half wb in 30s.
That IS doorhammer and it will stay doorhammer when people cant be bothered with a lost cause. Only realm pride will make them do that. I dislike nationalism or tribalism but it is part of our makeup as humans. The game mechanics need to leverage that.

well i'd like to see a poll with question: Which side (order or destruction) would you choose if RoR implements single faction restriction? That could help analysing possible disbalance in numbers, game balance and maybe could help with solution to solve problem.

Imo (as few said before me), there should be 1 side characters allowed. I know that many players will bypass that in many ways - but some will not. It is totally up to developers team either they wish to implement it permamently or for peroid just to try it and see how it works. Generally we have nothing to say, beside polite wishes and hopes.

Finall word is always gonna belong to RoR crew.

And we have to accept it. Or leave at once.

WoW PVP is a lot more intense and competitive than WAR's zerg vs zerg (which is why there is a rating system in it, and why war doesn't have one). Spoken by someone who has probably never tried competitive arenas, and thinks WAR's WB vs WB is the be-all and end-all. Never understood people who bash on wow (and then follow up with 'go play wow then') - the most successful mmo of all time.

OT: I am against xrealming except when there is literally 0 opposition on the enemy side. (6manelitistPOVincoming) when you're on Order and all the other decent premades are on Order as well, you have to go Destro if you want some competitive PVP.
