Hey and please help me choose a class/faction

Depends:

1) What archetype do you tend to play/enjoy? RDPS? MDPS? Tank? Heal? DPS tank?
2) Do you like challenging classes (BG, SH, Engi/Mag, SM, RP/Zealot) or easy classes (BW/Sorc, Mara, Slayer, KOTBS/Chosen)
3) Do you want to lean towards large-scale PvP or small-scale PvP? Different classes excel in different PvP platforms.

Play both. Leveling is fairly easy and you still have a few weeks til t4 gets out, and even if you dont get to 35 by then its not a big deal, this server isnt going anywhere. Theres no lockout timer and the dominant faction can switch fairly regularly, so if you want a challenge instead of empty keeps you need to play both.

And dont listen to the people who want to crucify you for it, theyre generally just mad that they lost a fight and want to blame it on something, so they pick "xrealmers". The rest of the population, including the devs, dont care, and generally condone playing both factions, as long as you dont intentionally swap to the one with more numbers (and even if you do, who cares, more people for the rest of us to fight)

i do not think the rest of the population, including the devs do not care/condone xrealming.
I personally play RvR to kill stuff and have fun and i accomplish this being on the winning or loosing team, as long as there are targets. What annoys me is just how fast the population swings from one realm to the other, like a snowball effect, the end result being one side almost always vastly outnumbering the other side, if xrealming was combatted in some way, perhaps there would be longer periods where there are more even match ups in the RvR lakes and some good fights to then be had

Hi Fellow Players!

I do now that this topic has been already beaten to death however I was not able to find sufficient answers to my questions and I would like to get your opinions on these topics. To provide some information on me, I have played a Disciple of Khaine on retail WAR on the max level, mainly a healer and now I would like to try something different. So without further ado, here are the questions:

1. Which faction should I choose and why? I'm mostly interested in doing scenarios and some RvR from time to time however I prefer a challenge and tend to choose the side which is the underdog/is less populated. Any tips on this?

2. Basing on the side/faction, I have a few classes I would like to play however I have no idea which and would like to ask you peeps for help - for Order it's either a Swordmaster (prefer the DPS version with some off-tanking) or the White Lion, while for Destruction it would be a Black Guard (also DPS with off-tanking) or a Witch Elf.

I would love to hear your opinions on this, and yes I know that the White Lion's pet is a bit "buggy/annyoing"

Ok so I will tag into this since he has made a choice. Looking for basically the same info.
1.Not sure how much I can play (huge into Fo4 and the season is coming up for flying my r/c planes.
2.I do not like being any type of caster.
3.Would like something that is designed more for solo but could still jump in a party and help it with pvp.
4.Joining a guild...well Not one for just joining a guild that doesn't know me and that I do not know.
5.Race choices top choices prolly Dwarf/Black Orc/Orc/Human

If you want to solo on a noncaster go for a warrior priest.
