Hey,
i am new here and have a few questions regarding my class choice.
I played a couple of years ago when the game was still running.
I played a Tank Chosen, and a Heal Shaman and tested every other class but well my memories kinda vanish over the years.
I like supporting and i really enjoy tanking.
I would like to play a tank again but on Order side.
So here are my Questions:
Does the Aura mechanic of the Knight of the Blazing Sun work the same as the Chosen?
Can i rotate them to keep the auras all up at the same time?
And how does the Ironbreaker and Warrior Priest work?
How is their survivability and where do they shine?
What's really important to me is the survivability of a class. Damage output comes after that.
I hope you can answer me these questions.
Cheers
Templa

Re: New Player, Class Question
Yes kotbs auras work exactly like chosen but in RoR how they work is that you no loger need to rotate/twist them cuase they are just toggles

Re: New Player, Class Question
The Knight works exactly the same as the Chosen, only now, there is no need to rotate auras, they are perma-buffs. The IB works off of the Grudge mechanic. If you've ever played a Blackguard, it's very similar. When you are hit, hit someone else, or when the person you are protecting gets hit, you gain Grudges, which unlock more potent abilities as it increases. The Warrior Priest is a medium armor healer with a great group heal. They have one pool for pure healing abilities, and that can be replenished by using your action points to melee opponents or an ability to basically pray to Sigmar to restore your healing pool. If you're looking for survivability and support, any of these 3 classes would be right up your alley.

Okay Medium armored healer sounds great.
Do IB and Knight have heals too? or do they rely on other healers to sustain their healh pool.

Re: New Player, Class Question
I believe most tank classes have a very small self-heals, but they rely on healers to keep them alive.

kotbs has a self heal on defending against attacks with his aura yes. which is nice when farming mobs but neglectable in pvp.

Re: New Player, Class Question
I beleive the IB self-heal is called Grumble and Mutter, 30 second HoT that is active as long as you have Grudges available.

Re: New Player, Class Question
Hmm what would you say if i am an encounter with multiple opponents who has the greatest survivability. Including non named classes by me
