Leveling (New player)

Hi. I just found out about this server, I played back in the day and trial only, so I'm not very familiar with the game. I'm currently level 13 Zealot and I was leveling in SC's and RvR tier 1, but now I moved to tier 2 and there are no groups at all, and for what I've seen it's due to bugs. So my question is, is there an alternative? Is tier 1 viable? Questing seems so slow and dull...

Hey Trivium!

Welcome to the wonderful world of RoR. Having open parties available is mostly about what time of day you are looking for a group. The closer to peak hours, the more people will be on to group with. Another big help with leveling is utilizing the kill quests in the warcamps. There are about 2 kill quests (IE kill 25 players, kill 10 players) in each warcamp. So being a level 13 zealot you have access to the Kill quests in every t1 warcamp, aswell as a quests in each t2 warcamp. This will allow you to make the most out of your Scenarios and Open Realm vs Realm experience. And remember, if there are not any open wb or parties for your zone, you can always create one and advertise it in the /5 (LFG chat)

Regarding the peak hours, I've been looking for a group all day and I was only able to find one in tier 2, but I'm gonna try to create one, even tho the keeps are bugged.

Im not sure what part of the keep are bugged. But you should be able to capture the BOs in the area then capture the keep after that, which will now supply those lukcy few with loot bags. I know most Siege weaponry wont work atm. Alot of t1 is mindless zerging in nordland, the higher you move in tiers the more organized oRvR becomes.

I'm now at Tier 2, got a full warband and stuff seems to be running smooth. I really didn't want to go back to nordland, as you said, its mindless zerging.

Just dont forget about all the kill quests!! Largest contribution to your money and XP! 2 per warcamp usually
