Class population imbalances? which classes are needed

order has no melee cause 90% of pug healers are dps
i would honestly not bother whatsoever trying to solo melee on order, scs are just endless pain

destro is absolutely fine, good spread of classes

NA destruction has seen a severe lack of healers and melee dps as of late. Mostly tanks and rdps.

yesterday night i noticed alot of RP, went to 3 SC's and 60% were healers.
would be fun to see a stat sheet of most active classes. atm i only play order since i feel like order is lacking players, and then im restricted to RP (i have problems with the thought of playing an elf)

Melee classes > ranged classes. You should know this when choosing what to play.
Also destro is ez mode zerg vs door side whereas order is emo rage quit after 2 months side because outnumbered 24/7 in pvp lakes.

Yeah, if your goal in this game is to serve as renown fodder for the rdps firing squad of the other realm, sure, by all means, choose melee:D
Now, seriously, dont play melee (especially mdps) unless you have a good group backing you with guard and heals. Rdps do do much better in a pug group, as they don't have to put their balls in the fire to get kills.

As to the destro= ezmode, this actually made me laugh... Guess what? Melee is more played by destro... that says it all as to which fight style suffers the most.

And destro doing pvdoor all the time.... Don't know when you play but I've played a lot since the release of t2 (and vbefore) and the tides turn constantly. In scs, however order has been dominant for the last few months, at least in EU time.

In scs the whole thing depends on which realm is fashionable for most of the best premades to play. It seems to be a matter of trends.

But to answer to the OP, I think SMs and engies are some of the least played order classes, and maybe

BGs for destro, but it's hard to say.

I'm just leveling my characters but what I saw that Order needs tanks. Destro has more tanks as far as I experienced. It is understandable: gamers are usually not big and badass like a Chosen or a Black Ork or graceful like a Black Guard. So many choose them on Destro side while on Order side SWs are a bit underperforming - as I heard - now, many can't cope with the dwarven short stature and KotBS is... just a normal human model - which is great compared with WoWs idiotic bodybulder models - but still many likes the more flamboyant looks.
