So anyway, I'm sure you've all sat in scenarios that were over in less than 2mins. One wipe, pushed to your warcamp. Try to push out, fail. Then sit in warcamp for 15mins waiting for the end. This situation is no fun for either side, and when it persists over multiple scenarios, causes people to log out or relog to the other faction.

Now losing is part of pvp, however no one wants scenarios that regularly end 30+ kills to 0. Could we do something to help the side that's being completely smashed? Winning a balanced scenario is far more satisfying, and when both sides are able to get kills then the renown begins to flow.

I'd suggest something like:

If the winning side has "n" times more kills than the losing side then the losing side gets a buff that increases outgoing damage/healing and reduces incoming damage. This buff would then increase in strength if the losing side continues to be dominated. But would stop increasing and begin to decrease in strength as the losing side begins to get kills. Thus the buff would balance out inadequacies of the weaker side.

Thoughts?
What a joke.
Stop smoking that weed man. I'd thought you would have realized this whole thread is kind of a troll :D

Buff bad players please, we need help!
Yes, please buff me.

Scenarios are only for premades now? I get almost no sc pop as a solo player I feel you guys have kind of thrown the pugs under the bus with those sc changes.

Coupled with two pieces of the set now dropping and being BoE, I should hope this addresses any concerns about affordability/acquisition rate.
I am (still) not so sure if 66% cut for weapons would be "enough" so to speak. I mean, I leveled my SM solely with T3 SC and no ORvR to lvl31 (with 28%exp on the way to 32). Right now I got 56 emblems, Balancers of the Duelist and Solerets of the Duelist. I am not so sure if I could have a full set with that (theoretically speaking before leaving T3 then), even with the drops, given the costs for helmet and breast. I don't even want to think about a weapon at this point. Of course, I know right now without T4 that's not a problem, and later there's downgrading with emblems, but still I thought I mention that. :)
You might be right. I've mentioned it before, but there are other people I need to convince. But running the numbers...

Assuming:
a. You buy the boots and gloves on the AH, or get them as a drop
b. The cost of a weapon will be reduced by ~66% to 165 emblems for a 2H
c. You win half your scenarios with 500 points
d. Of the half you lose, manage to at least get 200 points on average
e. It takes 2,631,340 experience to go from level 22 to hitting 30

1. Buying a 2H weapon (or 2x 1H weapons) and the remaining 3 pieces of the set will cost 550 emblems.
2. It will take about 138 scenarios at the above win rates to reach this goal.
3. This leaves a budget of about 19,000xp per scenario that you are allowed to gain.

If you exceed that number, or fall below the assumed performance, you will not have enough emblems to have purchased all of your gear by the time you reach level 30, the required level to use the last items on your list. So the questions are, do you gain more or less than 19k experience per scenario, and by how much more or less? Are these fair assumptions to make about the average win rate for players?

I can't come up with these answers and calibrate fair prices without data. If you want to track your win rates, final scores, and xp/renown gained for every scenario you do... this would be exactly what I need to get an idea of where prices should be.
Uffff. If I would have known this a bit sooner, I would probably have done so with keeping track.

But here's another point I forgot to mention: I did the kill quest and some others on the way to lvl31. Maybe this helps.

1. Kill Quests. 20+25 ones. (always all handed in right after each SC when it said 25/25 (and only then))
1.1 Badlands and Black Fire Pass.
1.2 Barak Varr
1.3 Troll Country
1.4 Talabecland
1.5 High Pass
1.6 Saphery
1.7 Avelorn
1.8 Nordland
1.9 Erkrund
1.10 Blighted Island
2. War is upon Us
3. Gears of War
4. Skaven Q-Line in Talabecland.

I just guess probably almost everyone is doing these quests (not necessarily the Skaven Q).

I can no longer say how many times I've handed in 2+3 but, of course, each time it went ping. Surprisingly this didn't happen very much often: I think got around 40 Soldier Medallions out of this.

My point here: Without having done so I wouldn't have had any noteworthy amount of gold to speak of. In fact, the amount of gold gain in T3 would have been as good as zero without kill quests. (I feel this is how it was supposed to be on live so people play ORvR and PvE too, and not solely SCs.) So maybe there's another thought, not sure.

So it's maybe about skipping on those quests (or some of them) to gain more medals, but here I guess perhaps no one would really do that...?

Edit: Genisaurus; when I level my next toon, should I write all down with or without playing with taking the kill quests? So to say would you have test-trial run with me taking these Quests or doing it without? I don't mind the "loss" of gold, because I got enough gold on my other toons. Your call. I got a BG that's almost ready for T2, so... I wouldn't mind doing that if it helps. I would just need to know what to do so it helps you most. :)

Please post this on the repeatable kill quest post - the gold gain from them is absolute doo dooooooo for the 458 turn ins. I realllllly want them to group all 3 into 1 guy for each area or up their reward.

Or an even easier fix would just be to double the kils required, double the rewards.

If you get 75 silver now, but it costs 25 silver to fly there... you net 50 silver.

If you double it, you get 1.5g, costs 25 silver. PRofit jumps to 1.25gold... So eventho its DOUBLED rewards it gives a 150% gain in net profit.... AND would require less TIME to do them as well.
