Being able to thorn pot / OYG! down mobs is **** game design, not botting.

Does that mean that Nerf Buttons to a certain degree is botting? Considering it's a third party program that automates an aspect of the game when a condition applies.

It's a legitimate question, all I want is an answer. It won't affect me, but this is something that people aught to know.

On the mythic server everyone who was afk flagged by the client (after a short time of inactivity), couldn't get any renown/exp/influence from the server anymore until he was unflagged again iirc.

Nerfed buttons probably falls into the same category as using AHK scripts for say automatically twisting auras. It is essentially a cheat but ultimately impossible to enforce rules against it. I think I have seen Az multiple times state if he could disable its use he would.

Also I think people worry about it too much, I can pretty much promise you only shitters use it and all it does is bring up the skill floor at the cost of lowering the skill ceiling.

How to report botters? I found and watched one for 15-20 min ish but don't have video recording software. All I have are screenshots with names.

It was amazing to watch... 1 high lvl BW stood and cast his single target rotation and kills the mob. Archmage behind him heals at equal intervals in the same rotation. No movement whatsoever, If I pulled the farm spot the BW did nothing because no mobs in range, but the healer kept on healing at perfect regular intervals.

No chat response or communication whatsoever. Not one step of movement.
