Clear Title not working

I have been playing for a few days now and I have reached level 13 on my Blazing Knight character and as I am rather new to the game I got a few titles:"The Brute" and "The Skeleton Hunter" but now I can only choose a title and not clear a title to show my renown rank. When I click the "Clear Title" button it says "You have attempted to select a title that you have not yet unlocked." I am relatively new to the game and am unaware if this is a common bug and I just missed the fix for this but I have not found anything online about it. Thanks for reading.

Yes this is the issue I currently have, is there a solution?
