ror launcher needs to be in the same directory as the game. your launcher is in the downloads directory...Zinczuk wrote:i have problems with running something lika this happend

@Elven:
"Uncheck read only on the game folder "
-Don't know if this will help you guys or not but I noticed this: A few days ago when I tried to get the game running (using the exact same steps as I did this time) nothing worked. However today I noticed that when I unchecked "Read Only" and applied it, it took ~3x longer to complete (applied changes to many more files) than a few days ago. No idea what that means, but just thought I should mention it.

Excellent support, got anything else other than lip?
Re: Client download issues and troubleshooting
Saw the post with my exact problem, tried all fixes suggested, every single one and still nothing has changed, same error with same main menu results. No clue what to do.Kokie900 wrote:Read quite a few pages and couldn't find anything related to my error or how to fix it, but I tried all fixes regardless and I keep getting this error when I click connect on the RoR Launcher:
Data.myp:

at System.Diagnostics.PerformanceCounter.InitializeImpl()

at MYPHandler.MYPHandler..ctor(String filename, del_FileTableEventHandler eventHandler_FileTable, del_FileEventHandler eventHandler_Extraction, HashDictionary hashDic)
at RoRLauncher.Client.UpdateWarData()
The game launches but it's just the main menu, no character or server selection/creation type of thing. Any help?
Also, I have done the performance counter cmd fix twice now to no avail, same error message and no selection on main menu.
Re: Client download issues and troubleshooting
For those people who have downloaded the client and keep getting the incorrect username/password, how many days do you have to wait before it starts working?
Re: Client download issues and troubleshooting
should work instantly. you should only use lower letters and no special ones.

Re: Client download issues and troubleshooting
I have downloaded the directx and the RoR launcher, and I put them in the Warhammer file and extracted the files to what I hope is the correct locations, but when I try to log in I get this:

Re: Client download issues and troubleshooting
You need to put the RoR launcher inside the game folder.
