ror launcher needs to be in the same directory as the game. your launcher is in the downloads directory...

@Elven:
"Uncheck read only on the game folder "
-Don't know if this will help you guys or not but I noticed this: A few days ago when I tried to get the game running (using the exact same steps as I did this time) nothing worked. However today I noticed that when I unchecked "Read Only" and applied it, it took ~3x longer to complete (applied changes to many more files) than a few days ago. No idea what that means, but just thought I should mention it.

at MYPHandler.MYPHandler..ctor(String filename, del_FileTableEventHandler eventHandler_FileTable, del_FileEventHandler eventHandler_Extraction, HashDictionary hashDic)
at RoRLauncher.Client.UpdateWarData()

The game launches but it's just the main menu, no character or server selection/creation type of thing. Any help?
Also, I have done the performance counter cmd fix twice now to no avail, same error message and no selection on main menu.
Saw the post with my exact problem, tried all fixes suggested, every single one and still nothing has changed, same error with same main menu results. No clue what to do.

For those people who have downloaded the client and keep getting the incorrect username/password, how many days do you have to wait before it starts working?

should work instantly. you should only use lower letters and no special ones.

I have downloaded the directx and the RoR launcher, and I put them in the Warhammer file and extracted the files to what I hope is the correct locations, but when I try to log in I get this:

Error starting: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not find file 'C:\Games\Electronic Arts\Warhammer Online - Age of Reckoning\WAR.exe'.
File name: 'C:\Games\Electronic Arts\Warhammer Online - Age of Reckoning\WAR.exe'

You need to put the RoR launcher inside the game folder.
