How does people who do SC's get medallions again?

You are not supposed to get all parts of gear in one part of the game. As RvR players arent getting SC tokens either.

If there are no enemies in the Lakes around that's a bummer, but will resolve itself with some patience id say

The medallions get split up and one would be glad to get 1 medallion out of one SC - 2 if they're lucky..

Yeah exactly, playing another game or doing something else will be your only choice to gear out if your play time coincides with a time period that there isn't a regular WvW population.

Of course that is a bit self defeating when it comes to trying to grow the population during that time period if the resolution is to go play another game or logout and do something else.... but what do i know.

well... following that argument everyone should get a free medaillion and a free emblem every 10 minutes? ^^

how would incentivicing SCs with medailions bring people to play RVR? I dont get that point.

You can run SCs/WZs/BGs in any other mmo, the strength of this game was ORVR.
Maybe this change is about trying to bring that back. Medallions dropping in SCs was part of the reason you see
less ORVR.

Why should you be able to get Weapons AND Armour for doing 1 part of the game?
I can't earn the Emblem weapons from ORvR, so why should you be able to get the ORvR armour from SCs?
(It'll get better with keep loot bags)
