War Story Guides

I've collected all the quest info and lore for the Tier 1 storylines into pdf format with art, screenshots and some fancy backgrounds etc.

You can get them here.

I plan to cover all race's Tiers eventually. Plus Intro books with the classes and racial backgrounds, dungeons, citys etc

It's all for my own project to make a load of pen and paper RPG content from the storylines in WAR. But I'm sure it's useful and interesting to people here too. Well those who are into the PVE anyway. If more sites pull the plug on their WAR content, like ZAM did, it may be all that's left.

There's a fair few blanks where I couldn't find screenies of NPCs, PQs etc, I plan to add that later when I get around to getting into the game.

Anyway, hope you like it all.

This is great stuff.

Contributions like this are what will keep the game from ever completely dying.

Reading through one of your guides...reminded me that the writing and artwork in in WAR was excellent. I do not think you will find a game with better writing and lore anywhere. Just another reason to shed a tear for this game. Hopefully we will see it resurrected on this private server. A monument to the true work of art that the game is and all of the effort put into it by the developers and designers.

How about LoTR:O? Or SWTOR?

But apart from those two...I agree fully.

Depends. Some are LOL cheesy(I'd say Smuggler and, perhaps, Knight for sure), some are gray and some can be REALLY dark(Trooper, Cons and Agent). I wouldn't play Han or Luke's(wooops! :D ;) )...errr...Smuggler/Knight's story and expect anything but CHEESE/EPIC, respectively. All other stories...there's more than it seems to them. This should be bolded, italicised and underlined as well as capsed in font 24 for the following classes: Consular, Trooper, Bounty Hunter. Sure you can play it vanilla, but if you put even an ounce of thought into it...

LoTR:O is definitely on par, no doubt about that.

I have a couple of stories I copied from the original site. I think they were prequals to the game's story but if you want I can upload them.

Those are non-related short stories written by Black Library authors. They bring a LOT of flavour(I almost said the other f word-no, not that one! :D ).

It's nice to have them as well!

Awesome work guys!

edit: come to think of it, were the quests themselves written by BL-ers? I mean, they always stood out to me from a typical quest of yore. Especially the epic ones...
