Point is that engi/magus are not "Alpha" killers, but assist DPS. I am not saying they dont need some tweaking, because they do especialy with mobility, but they can do theyr role pretty well

Its the same with "Alpha" healers like WP,DoK. RPs,AMs,Shamans,Zealots arent that needed like 1 WP or 1 Dok in party. Would apply the same logic here? The healing class You play if You dont want to be primary healer?
And we can aply this further on Kotbs, Chosen. Again must have tanks in every party. Who would bother play other tanks if they are not must have party class?

Everytime there is good magus in scenario its verry and I mean verry noticable in terms of "easier" killing for my single target dps whatever it is, because targets I attack are not so focus healed.

Magus has some flaws like getting **** up by grp cleanse (plz make the dots deal the remaining dmg as a direct hit on cleanse, so WPs/DoKs have to think before they spam cleanse [make cleansing wind an exception though, otherwise it would be useless] ) and pets that are not castable on the run without a tactic (plz make them insta cast on move), but they're doing quite okay.

Ppl who complain about dealing less dmg than a sorc/bw simply don't understand the class imho.

I tried to achieve this with ID and flurry-spam on the slayer but i always failed so far.
Conclusion: Magus >>> Slayer.

Vdova magus should be a primary dps. Every other dps can be. This notion of 'assist dps' is garbage/outdated.
