Actually it would.

You might not know this, if you haven't used it yourself, but you always land about 10-15 ft behind the target if it's moving. As in, you're not in melee range, so you actually have to Pounce again, go get in range. Hence, why you many times see people use it more than once. Granted, many people just spam the **** out of it, because trolololol, but that's just to piss people off. If you want a cd on Pounce, it would only be fair if it adds an about 2 sec root on cast or so, just like the Warrior's Charge in WoW.

Pounce intented not to have a cooldown and should never have. Pounce through walls should not be alowded like pull through walls should not be alowded too.

WL have both a snare and a charge. If, and I am not saying that it should, pounce got a cd it would be no need at all to add anything extra in the mobility or cc department.

Things like pounce need to be in the game not nerfed and drowned out / homogenized to be like every other class. It creates a skill ceiling on WL and a playstyle that isn't found on any other class, but that is obviously also thanks to the pet.

I hope every class can get an ability like pounce (not literally) but what it means in terms of what that class is able to do in the hands of a player using a skill that allows them to do amazing things when used properly. Right now it seems like all the fun toys are on mara/WL. You look at classes like knight with almost 100% static targeted abilities that don't really have different oppurnities based on situations etc... The whole class is held up or really defined by boring static group buffs from tactics that require no input from the user.

We need to make changes to the game that raise the skill ceiling, not lower it.

For once, I agree with Jaycub. Dumbing down the classes into the grey indistinguishable masses where everyone can do everything and be a recoloured mediocre copy of each other coz equality'n'sheeet' is not the way to go.

Some games went even further by adding more mobility skills to each class resulted in the clusterfuck jumpfest warzones in SWTOR with their recent expansion, where everyone can now blink/dash/teleport/swap positions.

But WL havent healdebuff and wound debuff as mara in first tree: Path of Hunter way.
WLs not cry about this or that mara have imbalanced tactic using with healdebuff DEADLY CLUTCH.
May be speak about this? Mara overpowered class now. Good mara is GOD

Yeah i totaly agree with your post !

They have charge, snare and root on pet and all saying "wl with cd on pounce = end of wl" so how slayer/choppa/mara play? they dont have pounce and they can go and back on the melee...
I just see the bad faith and the fear to stop having a completely op class

1) Marauders are infamously tanky by DPS standards. White Lions, on the other hand, have a habit of exploding. Marauders get this durability in return for not being able to catapult themselves across the field on a moment's notice.

2) Choppas have arguably some of the best DPS in the game. That comes at a cost. It's largely common knowledge they dissolve like paper in water if they don't have committed support.

White Lions have neither the self-sustain Marauders have nor the virtually non-stop sustained damage of Choppas. Gee, I wonder what they have in exchange to compensate...
