Windows 10, Critical Error - Authentication Failed

What's wrong with windows 10 to prevent connecting? any one have a clue?

thank for you answer elven. I read the thread then I try virus/malware/spyware scans, and Ccleaner for registry all is clean the pc is new. I try also to download the original file and same message error in the black box = login time out then second later "authentification failed" application will no terrminate" i disable also firewall and nothing at all... I try also vpn and cyberghost indicate in the old thread still same message error... another suggestion?

Try spamming the connect button in launcher a few times and if it says it again, click the connect button on launcher again to force it to go through? this ONCE worked for someone who had authentication error.

Worked 100% no problem on my copy of Windows 10. There's no obvious cause that I've found so far to pinpoint the cause. Different methods fixed it for other different people.

All I can suggest is try ALL of the suggestions above.

I can also confirm that the game runs perfectly on windows 10 for me.

First thank for your answer elven. In fact the launcher work perfectly since the beginning then I arrive on the character screen and none character are here. it's empty. To the right of the character selection the mini black box appear with no connection. it's just empty and stay black it's look like unable to reach the server with no message. then 20 seconds later error message authentication error.

look like I cant reach the server.. and I try to disable all fire wall and anti virus and nothing happen.... help

I do all of this and nothing

1) Make exceptions in your firewall
2) Disable any anti-virus that might be blocking the launcher
3) Set RoRLauncher to run as administrator only
4) Use a VPN such as Hotspot Shield, with the server set to London
5) Try following this suggested fix by a player
6) Rebuild your performance counters using this
(If unable to do so, type in lodctr /e:PerfProc)

I found the solution I remove almost all the program running in the computer. how to do this : right click start button then run services.msc press enter and remove all the program one by one to check the one who prevent the connection to war server. thank to all. Hope it will help you !

wich one was it that prevented the connection to the server? tell us please!

I will check it tomorrow morning... there is a lot I must check one by one and test
