Have you tried changing your password in the User control panel (at the top right hand of the page). Go to account settings and change your password. It should update it on the game server.

Yes, it was the first thing i tryed. But i got banned and got the same problem as he had.

I might be very wrong with this info but afaik, old game accounts that were not logged in more than 8 months or so were deleted.
A staff member in knowledge of it could give more info if it's like that or not.
As i said, i might be wrong with this so don't overreact ^^

I am having the same issue, I had only just created an account but I keep getting the invalid user/password error, even after changing my password and even after waiting a couple days. :/
