I can not agree with you on that. That's a screenshots from my BG last two scenarios from yesterday.
Spoiler:
I've failed here to screen all dps done but hihher than me was only a WH that dealt 170k dmg. though he had not so many kills.Image

and here is screen that I made for a topic to complain about amont of renwn getting by order, I was really mad about that. Picked that, cause it was first sc result after that two on top^ Image
That's not a highlight of me or cherrypicking screens, just regular scs for me in a party.

P.S Azarael, i you are rading this, can you please make possible to post pics from site radical.ru ? For some reason it is impossible now.

AoE fluff damage from Crimson Death does not account as a DPS class.

Those numbers are average on any offensive BG that knows how to pad/use Enraged Beating or AAs to get Killing blows in the right moments.

To use a scenario screenshot as evidence for 'I can fill in the slot of a DPS' is ridiculous. You don't provide burst, or an incoming heal debuff (in that DPS spec).
If anyone detaunts you, it's gg.

Going 2h tank is often done to have some other form of utlity access along with some fluff white numbers, chosen go 2h to better apply crippling strikes, bg have crimson death which better allows it to assist melee trains, kotbs 2hs allows you to break up the 20% crit and 15% heal combo with EA on your 2h tank and DT and heal tactic on your second kotbs which allows both tanks to run more auras and slot other tactics like sice through, etc

It's hard to make good arguments around performance, without being subjective. How can u persuade some1 who think u are just "dead weight" with words.
"I'm not!"
"U are!"

BTW Seeing how FO's ones got interpreted, i'd just surrender.

Indeed, padding may make you smile but when this amount of damage nets you 2 kills it doesnt mean much...ah dissolving mist, you make me look almost like a real dps.....

this is to narrow sighted. the dmg forces the enemy healers to group heal thus less pocket heals for their dds, which then others might be able to burst down.

(obviously not in that sc ^^ seems there was no other dd around lol)

Any chosen who late game goes 2h is basically a fool in my book, to drop Destined For Victory which is one of the most powerful tactics in the game to go glass cannon to do lolz1kravagecrits

You should never use FO unless you have a dedicated guard YOURSELF, and very reliable healers. In all other scenarios, it is simply not worth using and the minor damage increase does not warrant being reduced to medium armor.

I'm not saying BG can't do damage, as it can. But to think you're going to fill in for a WE, Mara or Choppa is silly (tbh the ONLY dps tank that could do this to soooome extent was a DPS BO)

There is a time and a place for 2h chosen. If you are running two good tanks in your party, only one of them needs to be SnB, and the synergy with a CS chosen and a Morale per Block SnB (BO/CHosen) is pretty amazing.

Back on topic, the Knight is one of the most durable tanks in the game for a two hander spec. You can stay fairly defensive and use Runefang and M2 for alot of power. I would say, this isn't as feasible until you hit 40 (you lack the wounds debuff, and a 4th tactic slot) If you are running 2 knights, 1 can definately go 2h

I used to run this:

You effectively have a detaunt, you have some tactics to play around with ( If you have an IB you can slot Bellow Commands instead of Snare tactic, if you have fighting a shaman slot Shatter Confidence for absolute silliness) You still have on demand CC. I would have liked to see a Greatsword Training tactic (which acts like a GW Mastery) but alas.
