It actually is. On my bw to "oneshot" someone I use fireball and while it's flying, fireball barrage. With 100 heat it's either enough to kill the target, or at least to allow others to kill it by instantly dropping it's health to low numbers.

Can someone tell me what retards he's blowing up with that rotation? I wanna be on that tab target.

Jaycubs idea to remove the limit on combustion is interesting but i dont think it would work, even if you got up to taking 3k damage per combustion tick 2 healers could heal through that and youd be one shotting everything in the meantime. Maybe if damage stopped scaling at 100 but combustion ticks kept getting bigger?

The other suggestion ive liked in the past was to put a heal debuff component on it. Still kind of easy to ignore, but at least if youre under focus there is a reason to drop combustion now.

I don't think the hard part will be convincing BW/SO to change to a HD. It would make them extremely capable solo-roamers.

The challenge will be convincing them that +35% crit and +100% crit damage is too much.

But why not to just plain reduce the heat bonus? Like +20% crit and +50% crit damage at 100 heat?

what about being slowed on full combustion.
0-20 - 10% speed boost
21-80 - normal speed
81-99 - 10% speed debuff
100 - 30% speed debuff

so to be relevant to catch your target and to kite and survive you need to manage your combustion.
although i dont know if bw/sorc got tools for mechanic managment as slayers/choppas has so that should be done also if it is not available now
