Dear DPS Healers.. from Us

Its correct that people have to play the way they want, but based on my latest experiences with pugs and random SCs in T2, i appeal on those you want to go dps WP/AM to focus on healing your mates andjoining the groups for buffs/groupskills. for the sake of our collective success!
Destro seem to have constantly healers in SC, thats what i witnessed the last days

so you asking DPS specced AM for heals? Do you know how much he is able to "heal" in such spec? It's near to useless. So no, it's doesn't help to "collective success". Making proper party before joining scenario - yes.

Don't dps healers feel kinda missplaced in a SC where they are the only class with heal abilities? i would at least feel some kind of responsibility to hold up the party? i don't see that.

not DPS AM in t1-t3. Their DPS is comparable or even better than "true" DPS classes have. DB and solo kills included. So why i should care about unguarded squishes, which will die anyway instead of killing things? explain.

You should care to a degree, you can actually make a pretty huge difference with your heals if you can identify the situations where say a HoT would help someone out tremendously or be a total waste of time as you cannot save them... kinda like triage I guess. Also focused mind group heal can save your parties ass. And of course just spam group heal on 5 mechanic to get some fluff out if people are under 100%.

Thing is, if healers don't heal... then there won't be any heal. For anyone. Which in turn means tanks drop quickly, and everything else drops even quicker. This game is designed to have healers heal. My RP is the backbone of the group if I heal. If I do damage, I'm just dead, and everbody else is too as well, and fast.
So that's the choice: be your groups backbone, or be dead. To each that which they like better.

I will add this... if everyone played their class different from what it was meant to do, all hell would break lose. Imagine an army of dps tanks, melee SH/SW/Engys, AoE Choppas (with pull), WLs specced into the pet tree, AoE maras, and lastly but not least... AoE WE/WHs

I am not part of the *US* in this title - Healers, are the most important class in the game, they are the only ones who can keep us up and res, so they should do just that, wanna dps roll a dps class, the only reason to roll a dps healer (DoK and WP not included obviously) is to keep YOURSELF up.

then why they give us a tree that allowed this ? then they should removre the option to have 3 tree that offer different path

At some point, people are going to have fun, test different builds, or just goof around. You can be pure 100% heal/support build and still get flamed for not being good enough. So the arguement that people will be upset is moot imo. I see people lashing out over lack of heals, and when someone points out, dude there is only 1 healer in the SC/WB they seemingly don't care. That 1 healer isn't healing me, so therefore they suck! And I have to admit, playing my WH there are times when I growl out load being DoTd right next to my heal line. But guess what? I don't get to see their screen. Disables/silences/already casting on another/or they just plain hate me. All are perfectly valid reasons for why I died,

The arguement that you are fundamentally harming the SC/grp/wb/whatever annoys me though. Any character in a SC/ORvR that is more than 5 lvls below the tier max is at a serious disadvantage. Whom would be considered "weaker" for the SC? a 32/40 AM dps spec, or a 22/15 anything?

If powergaming is your thing, then join a guild that feels the same way, or create your own! Build your own premade with the types of players and classes that YOU desire in order to have fun in this game. Just because you feel a certain way doesn't mean everyone else should. And that DPS healer that is driving you bat-**** crazy? Maybe they are just bored, and wanted to try something out for an hour. Or maybe they are testing something specifically to try and get a change made.

The Devs have already proven that they want to help make the off-specs viable. This will take time and balancing, in the meantime, play the way that YOU want too. surround yourself with people that think and feel the same, and you will have tons of fun. Expecting randoms to go out of their way for you is not only selfish, it's pretty damned ignorant.
