You could.....make it pve or pvp only and not both, requirng you to kill the boss alone or just pvp; you guys might not realize it but now the iniatial wave of T3 players is gone its kinda hard to organize people for these quests with a full party and appropriate arch types need for pve, espically for servent duel since that quest levels up so slowly since there are like no ams now
its the same situation as trying to farm lairs in t1 now

Re: Repeateble Stalker Quests
Incentive to do group things together in a group oriented game (an MMORPG) is something that has to be taught to people it seems, not incentivised for selfish gains. I've had no problem asking my guild for help when it came to getting my Stalker gear pieces on alts; there's also still plenty of people around for the Skaven event quests on alts; even if you don't get replies from advertising in advice, sometimes there's selfless players online that will help regardless of personal incentive.TenTonHammer wrote:You could.....make it pve or pvp only and not both, requirng you to kill the boss alone or just pvp; you guys might not realize it but now the iniatial wave of T3 players is gone its kinda hard to organize people for these quests with a full party and appropriate arch types need for pve, espically for servent duel since that quest levels up so slowly since there are like no ams now

As far as T1 lairs are concerned; I was on the entire day today and saw constant advertisement for the T1 lair bosses. Even did about a dozen T3 lair runs myself; almost managed to 4-man one of them. Made a lot of friends that wanted to hang around for sub-sequential kills, even if they obtained their drop already. You simply need to find good people to do these sorts of things with as far as I'm concerned; be they community heroes, new random players or your own guildies

Perhaps if we lead this by example in an MMO we love, we won't have to resort to constantly presenting people with carrots to subconsciously get them to play this MMO in the most optimal way; not only for ourselves, but for each other.

Re: Repeateble Stalker Quests
were NA playtime players so fortunate, yes i see the messages, 5/6 lfm to do lairs
when i tried on multiple bg toons in t1 at most i got at most 4 players for a lair but could never get a healer to do lairs, getting people who are 10-11 with sufficiently high enough gear to take on or tank bosses was apparently easier for you than me.
Other times its sorry wen dont need a tank or "sorry your a bg, i am too and i dont want to compeate with you for drops so no invite"
Same with stalkers, asking for trying to form a grp for stalker sholders today i got 1 response perhaps because they didnt have enough kills or they just wernt interested , asking around for help people told me i need to pay them for their help.
A guild yeah i have one but not on this toon, the guild leaders/recuiters are EU so im not often on the same time as them to get invited and even then me guild mates dont really get together and do stuff unless its premades.
At the end of the day though what happens if you loose you stalker stuff and it dosnt come back? Do you just shrug your shoulders? Or could if you want to encourage people to form groups make the quest repeatable and pve only to kill the boss?
Cause you put in this effort and loosing the gear and having no way to get it back is disheartening, loosing my stalker shoulders the first time was what made me want to remake my bg i get that its an alpha but before if you lost oblits or deva it would suck but you could buy it back atleast, cant do that with stalkers
Then any one who wants the gear can join and not be left out cause they only have 7/20 am kills

Leave everything with PvE sets as it is please. Obtainable once and salvageable.Genisaurus wrote:A quest can currently only be made repeatable 1 stage at a time. In other words, you would have to kill 20 players once, but after that the hero portion would be repeatable and reward Tracker/Stalker gear.
If these quests were made repeatable, the gear would not be salvageable. This is something I can do, and we'll review it internally. Though frankly, I'd rather do a character wipe

And people who cry they can't get a group - SOCIALIZE. Get a guild, people there will gladly help you out with those heroes.
And maybe while in a guild, people will be less likely realm hopping.

Re: Repeateble Stalker Quests
All RvR gear from T1 to T4 were salvageable and gave purple mats when the gear used to cost medallions. When Mythic introduced worn-sov gear though which cost gold... they had to lower the mats obtained from purple to blues because people would just buy the worn-sov gear for 10g, and then sell the purple tally they got from it for 50-100g... lasted for a couple of weeks before Mythic changed it.Bacta wrote:1) I can see the quest becoming available for those who have lost there gear but not those who currently have it, that would make fragments to easy to farm.
2) Devastator gear is an RvR set and i dont believe it was salvageable. Stalker is PvE set and is salvageable. If you are in a guild you could easily farm the stalker quests.
I think devs should make rvr gear salvageable again as it costs medallions in order to get them instead of gold.

Honestly though, will there be a character wipe? Or is it safe to play now and come back in a few months / a year to play on same char?Genisaurus wrote:It's a joke. It would reset the quests for everyone, very easily.
