black screens

hello!
I have this problem:
Whenever i login into game anyhing besides menus is black. The character selection screen is black as well and whenever i click the play button the game starts loading but after a few seconds it returns me to my desktop screen. please help

I dowloaded from the link you game me and i got the same problem. Anything besides menus is black and the game crashes whenever i click the play button ingame. It looks like a graphics card issue but i got all of the newest drivers on my AMD Radeon HD 5450 1gb card.

i downloaded the game on a friends pc (which is older than mine) and the game worked absolute fine.
Any ideas?

Make sure you got the compatible versions of DirectX installed. Can download it from this link.

If it still doesn't work, I would recommend doing a clean install of your graphics drivers.

hi again! I installed my graphics card drivers from scratch and then i downloaded direct x from your link and installed it. Still nothing all i get every time i login is the menus and background black and again when i click play and the game starts loading it crashes and returns me to windows yayyyyy
Any other ideas please?

Does your game folder have any user profiles inside? You could try moving them out and trying it again.


Side note: Do you play in fullscreen or windowed mode?

i removed the user folder from the game directory and i tried to run the game in full screen mode and in windowed as well. still the same every time i login (windowed or full screen mode) it goes black
