I would consider scenarios in their current state to be casual, if someone gets into an SC and doesn't want to play against what they think may be enormous odds they should be able to leave.Simmox wrote:theres nothing wrong with the current system
when you hit the Q button ,your signing the contract to play the scenario
so what if you lose or are over powered by a superior team?
nothing happens to you,its not like you wake up with leprosy or something the next day
luck of the draw im afraid
you can see who the player teams are before you accept the join option,so you do have a chance to decline the join.
however,id prefer you didnt get to see the enemy teams player names prior to commiting
as this can lead to the premades being boycotted by the discerning Q'er and declining the Join.
Until there is some kind of division made between competitive scenarios and casual scenarios you are going to have bad side effects like the OP has. Whether that is a total MMR system introduction, or just a separate 6v6 only que, or having certain SC's labeled as causal with no penalty for leaving or an endless solo que only SC etc... There are a lot of ways I think you could go about it.
There should definitely be like a 10-15 minute penalty for leaving an SC tho, a lot of people myself included are abusing the insta log out reque and drop the sc you where in to find greener pastures.
