why do you spec axes?

i heard it wasnt that great because among other things you dont benefit from 50% AA

When I'm not rolling my face on the keyboard which has everything bound to Pounce, it's usually
Pounce (if necessary, not gonna spam if I'm on top of a target) --> Cleave Limb --> Primal Fury --> Force Opportunity --> Coordinated Strike --> Lion's Fury >insert Sundering Chop spam or a Fey Illusion/Shattering Blow somewhere here<
(and here's my spec at the moment, considering grabbing Lionheart after hitting 40)

Don't think I'll ever spec Whirling Axe, to be honest. I guess that is possibly subject to change if someone can thoroughly explain to me why that's preferable to Primal Fury or I see the reflection of it being superior in RvR/SCs from White Lions who use it.

If you are challenged.. you do less damahe even with the buff up yhen just clearing it... which you can do 4 times a minute

What happens when you're taunted and your ability is interrupted? And wouldn't challenge also cut down the damage WA would do as well? The main point I'm trying to make here is while that WA might be good for pressuring PUG squishies, any smart group's healer would press detaunt, have the tank taunt you to interrupt WA, and move on.
