Dictionary- need help with terms, abbreviations, etc.

This might sound funny but I need some help with understanding basic game features and terminology/abbreviations used by players.

First thing that bugs me is stuff like "T2 dwarf open" or similar (I know it means open for capture, but...). As far as I know there are 4 tiers of RvR in the game and currently 3 tiers implemented in Return of Reckoning, is that correct? I thought T2 is where the RvR in Troll Country/Ostland happens but after joining T2 warband I was running around and met no one from my warband, yet I saw they are killing stuff because I've seen people's rolls on loot. They kept on saying "regroup at Shadowlands" but there is no such location on the map and google didn't help me too much in that matter. Where is that exactly? Sometimes I see "shadowlands and something captured by destruction/order".

Second thing is: I noticed there are elves vs. dark elves, greenskins vs. dwarves and empire vs. chaos (if I am correct). Are those synonyms to T1, T2 and T3? Or there is T2 dwarf and T2 elves as well?

Basically what I would love to know is:
- how many locations of outdoor pvp are there? (I know about the starting one for levels 1-11 and the other one in troll country for levels up to 21)
- what are the synonyms for different pvp segments and what do they mean? (elves, dwarves, etc.)
- if people form warbands are they looking for RvR or the PvP scenarios?

What bothers me is that I know what to do but sometimes people use some strange terminology that is completely unclear to me and when I asked for clarifications I received even more complex abbreviations :) In the end I left my warband as I had completely no idea where they are and asking for the 4th time was a little bit awkward :D

Easiest way would probably be for you to look at the locations that are available at the flightmaster.
That way you'll get a better picture at the world of Warhammer and the main locations.
Every tier of the game has 3 racial pairings. High Elf vs Dark Elf, Empire vs Chaos, Dwarf vs Greenskins.

Currently there are 3 tiers. While this term mainly comes up in the open rvr, it generally also includes scenarios. So T1 is 1-11, T2 is 12-21 and T3 is 22-32. Every single open RvR tier has 3 zones, so 9 zones in total across every tier: Elf vs. Darkelf, Empire vs. Chaos and Dwarf vs. Greenskin (refering to the fractions fighting there. You can fight in every zone regardless of your race) So for instance Shadowlands is T2 elf. You can get to those places by visiting the flight master and selecting the desired zone. You will get to know the zones by name rather quickly

Warbands are for orvr only

Welcome to RoR :) It's nice to see it's more than just veteran players enjoying this game :)
