Knockdown can hurt the balance (someone think so) but 2h sword can hurt only hearts of people who in 80% don`t play bg as main hero :|

been there, had that discussion, was "rejected" cause undetuantable tactic, makes 2h bg soooo strong AND just as viable as SnB BG......

2H bg is still in that limbo where its "fine" in t3 but will be meh in t4, cause everything 2h bg can do, SnB bg can do just as well if not better and crimson death is not a sufficient upside to all that you loose

especially when 10% crit is mediocre in front of kotbs ez 20%

If it is not possible to change class skills, having such visual compensation is not a bad idea

10 sec crimson death and just a nice little kicker via a buff to the 2h spec or tree would be plenty to make 2h viable. It should boil down to what can I pick up with the 2h that is as good or better than the 5 sec kd in enough situations to make it viable... but not usher in an Era where 2h bg completely overshadows s/b as it does now but 8n reverse.

5 seconds of hard cc, the surviveability that comes with a shield as well as the utility that comes with it like Hold the line that gave BG its near 100% magic immunity, as well a the loss of effective guarability with only parry to mitigate guard dmg.

All this is given up for a higher tooltip dmg ability and 10% crit ability the dmg dosnt even matter since its not like the dps is even on par with real mdps and its not like 2h bg brings a whole lot to the group dynamic due to its selfish nature, atleast 2h blorcs can still stat steal and 2h chosen has auras along with CS.

I look forward to seeing what "kicker" buff can make up for this.

Making CD undefendable and buffing blade of ruin by making it similar to cave in mechanically damage wise then swapping it with the 3 sec channel in the tree so it's not a direct buff to shield bgs.

Finally someone notice it hah :) . Btw sword can be added as a real weapon with same stats as halberd or chosens one for example

you could just restrict BoR to 2h, then it wont buff them and it wouldnt affect em since no one ever specd it on live anyway

i wish the channel was something else, its not worth picking up since you dont get aa while channeling so you cant capitalize on aa haste

Blackguards need to play victim and act like our 2h spec not being viable is the biggest problem in WAR, gotta get that shilling in whenever we can :^)
