what is the exact error message?
can you screenshot it? for example use imgur.com and post a link
also make sure you have read+write permissions to the location you are installing it
try installing it directly to C:, D: etc drives, not into program files.

both RoR executables are already patched with PAE/4GB addressing space support on 32bit to my knowledge.
The game uses 2 cores at most. 1 for rendering thread and otherone for all the rest. At least under linux with DXVK.

Seems to be general issue for some people. Not anything Linux specific. I have had it twice, but restarting launcher makes it progress again.

Would you mind posting a guide on how to set up Sildur's Shaders with the new 6.0 version they've released? I'm not good with Linux so I've failed to set it up myself.
reshade is pretty finnicky with DXVK. So i would suggest using vkbasalt or gshade instead
