Re: I dont wanna be rude but... what?!
Tanks try to run around the enemy backline on their own instead of protecting their DPS, etc.
That's definitely me. Why protect a DPS though who is just hitting the tanks? I charge in and attack the back line, like my DPS should be doing. If they aren't with me, that's their problem. Maybe ...

This is, I think, an excellent point.
Proactive, offensive stats like crit chance, strike-through, and armor penetration should always be weighted more heavily than their ...

It's unlikely to be (A).
See the attached log, for example, where the incoming damage is from a solo AM.

Current guard mechanics
Player 1 is a shield-less tank with P parry.
Player 2 is a magic DPS with dP parry strike-through and dD disrupt strike-through.
Player 1 guards player 3.
Player 2 hits player 3 with a magic attack.
What is the chance for player 1 to parry the guard damage?

Re: Patch Notes 11/07/2024
I like the 10 second change but the other changes of removing guards and the existing barriers are just catering to people who want to farm people till they quit. The old way on the live server of no barriers and active guards meant that if you were out matched there was a chance to do something ...

I thought your parry, dodge, and so forth drop to zero when knocked down.
Is this not the case?
Here, I knock down a knight (with no immunity, the knock-down animation played), but my punt is parried?
