Still quite new to the game and have recently unlocked the skill Rune of Restoration. As of now RoR (Rune of Restoration) seems worse than GG (Grungni's Gift).

Right now GG heals for 125 and costs 15 AP instant cast time, while RoR costs 45 and heals for 395 with a 2s cast time ...

I started this thread as a n00b looking for advice on Shamans. Mainly what draws people to this class (aside from the obvious, being a crazed spell slinging gobbo hopped up on shrooms) and how they prefer to play them, such as dps or heals.

What do you believe are their strengths ...

Having to only gear up one set makes Zealot a lot more favourable as it will make gear choices much easier and faster to obtain. Although with shaman the extra kiting it might make it easier for my friend to stick to one target and not have to save ...

So far from playing RP i really like how the class works. In SC I just run around spamming instant heals, hots and bubbles while throwing the occasional dot and instant dd (mind you this is only T1).
