Return of Reckoning

My experience with online PvP started with the launch of UO way back when. Then the launch of DAOC (dominated on the Nimue - Hibernia server), Reckoning, Guildwars (still the best strategy PvP ever IMHO), and currently still playing WvW in Guildwars 2.

Just looking for a reasonably organized but ...

Previously any reasonably sized engagement that happened in BK was a lag fest. Now it seems things are very noticeably smooth and lag free!

Though I did not play War when it was live, most of my guild from DAOC did (Retribution).

The biggest complaint from the DAOC vets were the enormous chasm in power difference (DPS / HPS) between those that put in the time (RvR, farming, crafting) vs those that just casually played. DAOC gear did ...

Launcher won't even do anything (errors, changes) for me when I click connect, it just sits there. Task manger shows no processes running or trying to run in the background that are War related.

Have rebooted and checked / re-entered password.

IMHO just be grateful that you get to play, regardless of what Tier.

Most people have absolutely no idea what it takes create and implement an emulator. Blood, sweat, tears and time...

Being able to play and be grateful about it > of what might be up and coming.
