I think this same quest also gives WL looking gear for DoK. So i did various qsts from DW wc and did not get anything for my dok. Maybe these arent in game yet or were taken out.

For me personally the purple renown numbers gave me motivation. Once i hit rr80 on live or 40/40 now game lost a bit of magic and i went to playing alts.
