Muted 1 hour

In the scenario channel, I wrote “POINT” — P-O-I-N-T — to tell the players to go precisely to the point. Another player said “co-flag”, and a few seconds later, I’d say about 20–30 seconds after my first “POINT”, I wrote “POINT” again.

Then, about another 30 seconds later, I wanted to give my group ...

Re: Magus fix

Being a good Magus isn’t that simple, and it’s exactly the same for the Engineer. Having a lot of players on these classes mostly means that a large proportion of them will be average, or even bad. The players who can truly get the most out of these classes will remain few, so the overall impact on ...

Re: Magus fix

What a **** pleasure it is to read so much bullshit about Magus from people who don’t even play the class, and maybe 2% of them actually know how to play it properly.

I’ve been playing almost nothing but Magus since I came back, and even with an optimized setup for single target and another ...

Magus Disc… a blackberry and blueberry tart. At its centre, a little daemon.

Re: Magus fix

In the end, this discussion is just going in circles: no one seems to genuinely listen to anyone else’s arguments. Everyone remains firmly stuck to their own position, claiming mostly based on feelings or impressions that the Magus is now overpowered or has been significantly improved.

Maybe with a ...

Re: Magus fix

Nonsense. Reading this, it’s pretty obvious that you don’t understand at all how magical damage works, especially when it comes to the Magus.

It’s crazy how some people can be so convinced they’re right while being completely off the mark.

Re: Magus fix

Yes, I completely agree. I play Magus, and in single-target, its real strength is its crowd control and the sheer number of tools it brings, not its DPS.

We’re being sold a tactic that reduces cast time by 25% as if it were some huge offensive buff. In practice, you go from a 3-second cast to ...

Re: Stealth Nerf to Magus Damage?

It’s complicated to get my point across hahaha. I’m not claiming anything, I’m just asking questions.

As has been mentioned several times in this thread, there was a small patch, and all I know is that since then, my rotation has been performing around 15–20% worse. That’s all.

How did you ...
