guys i'm not even talking about WINNING Scs, but the experience of it from the POV of a undergeared player . i'm sure in a 1vs1 any more experienced player would win vs me anyway, but at least give me the chance to be useful and do any form of damage with my full rotation and not be 1shotted by BIS ...

Because gear equalization is game death.
all incentive to farm gear is removed and you will still lose to coordinated premades.

As a new player or simply for leveling alts this is terrible, to reach 40/40 and be useless.
If i understand correctly SCs are the WO version of competitive pvp. So why make them almost entirely gear based instead of skill only based? there is RvR for "real" gear + skill pvp.
