As others pointed out the game feels unrewarding/dull. My suggestions:
1. Reset the rvr area influence bar every time, place additional rewards there.
2. Enlist characters after succesful Fort for additional rewards if realm wins the campaign.
3. Box running needs to go. Revert to previous rvr ...

The oRvR zone mechanics are boring and the reward system can be shockingly bad.
Would it be a terrible idea to reward players on both sides equally, based on accumulated individual contribution? This way no one would feel like they are "getting farmed" or wasting their time. Players would stick ...

War never ends.. until you log in and see 80% of your guild is engaged in thrilling pve action, a dozen of people spamming lfg begging for a dungeon run; and all of that while the other side dominates the lakes pushing for the next city siege. As a returning player oRvr looks like a dying part of the game, pointless and obsolete. Zerg, no roaming, no rewards, no gear progression (most of that comes from forts/cities).
What about a new personal contribution system? The more time you spend in the zone the higher your level of contribution ...
