so do you have any ideas whats causing the massive 20sec-60sec lags at keep sieges at the prime time? is it just because there are too many people clumped in one zone or is it the massive input of abilitys spammed by players at the same time? It is not an impossible goal. We are not aiming to fix all lag time for all time ever, but rather to address the current capacity issues far enough that we are comfortable that T3 can release and the server will be able to handle the influx of players that T3 will inevitably bring. Well I don't see the fix working that well. I can still shoot AoE trough Mandred's Door. Doors do not currently have LoS checks. This. Because of their dynamic nature, doors require additional information that would enable LOS checks to conditionally pass / fail for individual pieces of geometry ...

Determining the root cause and appropriate course of action for melee range issues is a high priority IMO. Currently I am working on WB / SC unit frames and map updates, but I would like to start looking at melee Soon™. I frequently play a blackguard from east coast USA, I know how it can be.

It's possible to intercept rendering calls made by a game without having to modify the game binary, but what you can achieve with this method is 'limited'. I put it in quotes because SweetFX uses this approach and can do quite a lot, but like Shlomo said it pretty much all falls within the confines ...
