Return of Reckoning

The game isn't 'hardcore' anymore and probably never will be. Most organized guilds have disbanded or moved on to other games. A dwindling population and dull campaign mechanics are the main reasons why interest is dying out.

No organized play, no issues. No blobs, no warcamp camps just pure chaos as it should be.

I think the game has problems on several levels. With a player base that rarely exceeds a thousand active players during prime time, the only real activity is usually a "blob vs. blob" battle that drags on all evening in a single zone. With the exception of some players with masochistic tendencies, no one wants to be stomped. Knowing how easy is to xrealm these days, the obvious choice is to join the better organized and winning side and get some hefty reward for the time spent.

GW2 did it right

Stealth with perma 60% movement speed.

I wonder if planned range dps revamp will be announced before implementation with potential subject to change.

Watched few streams, visually worse than Warhammer Online and maybe even original DAoC. I sense same pattern as inperpid did for AoC.

Vast majority of RoR population is just a bunch of old bored veterans progressing through the same well known content with yet another alt or sitting on their BiS toons where gameplay is more like a moba rather than mmo without any sense of progression
