Making premade only would kill scenarios in the same manner as it killed ranked. However current state is just simply bad experience. Mixed realm scenarios could be a small step to increase overall population of the lobby but it is still far from enough people to make proper bracketing system.

Before queueing for scenarios I am always checking killboard for few last matches. Avoiding times when steam rolling premades are ongoing saves a lot of time and frustration. Being farmed with zero gain is a pure masochistic pleasure which I am not into.

Most of the players here are long time addicted vets with full bis and vast knowledge of the game. I don't get this policy of preventing new players to catch up relatively fast instead of 1-2 months of being punch bags. I guess player retention caused by power level gap is quite significant. However I am not quite sure if it will be as popular as the other ones which are already implemented. It requires even decently geared party to spend +3h to complete full run.

I would like to suggest solution with in my opinion shouldn't be hard to implement. One tiny element to increase importance of periodic city struggle in a form world buff for victorious side.
